Sylvie Sammut

Sylvie Sammut is a Full Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management at the University of Montpellier (Montpellier Management).

She was the Dean of Montpellier Management from early 2022 to early 2026, Director of the University of Montpellier’s incubator from 2020 to 2022, and Director of PEPITE-LR from 2011 to 2017.
She leads the Chair of Entrepreneurship, Incubation, and Innovation Support (AE2i) and the Entrepreneurial Support Lab program.
She is the Academic Director for the L3 EPME and Master AE (M1 and M2).
She is a founding member of the Academy of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (AEI) and serves as Vice President of Research and Commercialization.
Since 2020, she has also been responsible for the Business Support Strategy and Practice track at ISBE (Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship) in the United Kingdom.
She is a member of the PEPITE France Monitoring Committee and a member of the Scientific Council of the FNEGE.
