Mobility Grants

Montpellier Management students are responsible for covering the costs associated with their mobility period (transportation, accommodation, meals, etc.). However, subject to meeting certain eligibility criteria, they may be able to receive financial support in the form of mobility grants.

There are two types of mobility grants: study mobility grants and internship mobility grants. The funding schemes presented below apply to the 2026-2027 academic year and may be revised on an annual basis.

Study Mobility Grants

Only students who have been selected to participate in a study mobility programme at one of Montpellier Management’s partner universities are eligible to apply for these mobility grants.

1. Erasmus+ Grant: An international mobility grant available exclusively for study abroad programmes within the Erasmus+ participating countries in Europe.

Eligible for students undertaking mobility in L2, L3, M1, or M2
Funded mobility duration: 2 to 12 months

2. AMI Grant (International Mobility Assistance Grant): A mobility grant available exclusively to students who receive a CROUS scholarship based on social criteria.

Eligible for students undertaking mobility from L1 to M2, worldwide, excluding France and the French overseas territories (DROM-COM)
For a mobility period of one month (between 30 and 89 days): €400
For a mobility period of two months (between 90 and 119 days): €800
For a mobility period of three months (between 120 and 179 days): €1,200
For a mobility period of four months (180 days or more): €1,600

3. Regional Grant: Three types of financial assistance are available to support international mobility.

If you are a CROUS scholarship holder (regional study scholarship):

Eligible for students undertaking mobility from L2 to M2, worldwide, excluding France and the French overseas territories (DROM-COM)
Funded mobility duration: 14 weeks for one semester / 26 weeks for a full academic year

If you are not a CROUS scholarship holder:

Eligible for students undertaking mobility from L2 to M2, worldwide, excluding France and the French overseas territories (DROM-COM)
Eligibility : family income reference (quotient familial) equal to or less than €20,000 (proof required)
Funded mobility duration: 14 weeks for one semester / 26 weeks for a full academic year

Geographic incentive grants:

Cooperation Grant: Available for mobility periods in partner territories of the Occitanie Region, including Japan, Morocco, Senegal, Quebec (Canada), and Germany
Eurocampus Grant : Available for mobility programmes in Catalonia or the Balearic Islands for Master’s students (M1 and M2 levels)

Internship Mobility Grants

Montpellier Management students undertaking a compulsory internship abroad as part of a national degree programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) may be eligible for mobility grant schemes supporting international internships.

Optional internships, internships undertaken as part of a university diploma programme (Diplôme Universitaire), and internships with foreign companies carried out remotely from France are not eligible for mobility grant schemes.

1. Erasmus+ Grant: An international mobility grant available exclusively for study abroad programmes within the Erasmus+ participating countries in Europe.

Eligible for students undertaking mobility in L2, L3, M1, or M2
Internships must last a minimum of two consecutive months, calculated from start date to end date (e.g. from 12 April to 12 June).
Funded mobility duration: 2 to 6 months
Internship allowance must not exceed €1200 gross/month

La gratification de stage ne doit pas dépasser 800 euros net/mensuel

If you are not a CROUS scholarship holder:

Mobility from 2nd year of Bachelor’s (L2), worldwide (excluding France and French overseas territories)
Eligibility: family income reference (quotient familial) equal to or less than €20000
Funded mobility duration: 4 to 20 weeks
Internship allowance must not exceed €800 net/month

Geographic ncentive grants:

International students wishing to undertake mobility in their home country are not eligible for the grants of the Occitanie Region.
