Relais Handicap Handiversité

Handiversité is a permanent structure dedicated to welcoming and supporting students and staff with disabilities. It is present at Montpellier Management through a disability liaison officer, as it is in every department of the University of Montpellier.

Apply for study and/or exam accommodations

Step 1: On the registration form, complete the “declare a disability situation” section.

Step 2: Once you have registered/re-registered administratively, go to your ENT, “Handy” tab, to submit your request.

Step 3: Contact the Preventive Medicine Service (SCMPPS) and the Handiversité service.

Dates to keep in mind

All requests for exam and/or study accommodations must be submitted each academic year before November 30th via the Handy app.
Those who have not yet submitted an application may still do so for the second semester before March 1st of the current year.

How to request exam accommodations?

This is my first request for accommodation at the University of Montpellier

I must make an appointment with the Preventive Medicine Service to assess my situation and determine the exam accommodations I need.

I’m still enrolled in the same course or training cycle and I’d like to renew the accommodations I benefited from last year.

The medical examination with the Preventive Medicine Service is no longer required. My accommodations will be renewed as they are, provided that I request them in the Handy app. If the accommodations are no longer in line with the exam regulations, new accommodations will be offered to me.

Good to know

Each request for study and/or exam or competition accommodations is reviewed by a team composed of the preventive medicine department and the Handiversité department. It may call upon other university professionals who are able to provide an informed and clear response to the requests made: teachers, academic advisors, SCUIO-IP. It may also call upon any external partners deemed necessary (specialized institutions or services, experts, MDPH, Crous).
