Bachelor’s Year 3 Management Strategy (MS)
The Bachelor’s Year 3 Management Strategy (MS) trains versatile management generalists, preparing students for advanced studies at the Master’s level in management, strategy, project management, consulting, management accounting, finance, business development, marketing and more. Introductory or advanced courses in these disciplines are delivered over the two semesters. One or two specialized courses are taught in English. The program is professionally oriented and includes a mandatory internship lasting at least eight weeks. The internship can be completed in France or abroad. Bachelor’s Year 3 Management Strategy (MS) students can spend a semester or a full academic year studying at one of Montpellier Management’s partner universities abroad (Canada, South Korea, Norway, Spain, Italy, Sweden, etc.).

The Bachelor’s Year 3 Management Strategy (MS) is ideal for those who wish to acquire a generalist education in management, paving the way for numerous further studies in a master’s degree in management, strategy, project management, consulting, management control, finance, business development, marketing, etc.
Application requirements
The Bachelor’s Year 3 Management Strategy (MS) is one of the specialization tracks offered in the third year of the Bachelor’s degree Management.
Students may enter this program in the first, second, or third year.
- The first year (L1) is open to students who have obtained their high school diploma.
- The second year (L2) is open to students who have completed their first year of higher education in a compatible program, such as a Bachelor’s Degree 1 or a first year of a BUT or BTS related to the discipline.
- The third year (L3 MS) is open to students who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree 2 (L2) with a focus on Strategic Management at Montpellier Management. Students from other programs (preparatory classes, L2 Economics, BUT GEA, BUT TC, BTS, etc.) are also welcome. Students who are not registered for the L2 Gestion at Montpellier Management must apply for the L3 MS. Selection is based on the application and (if eligible) an interview.
Foreign students who are not members of the European Union and do not have a French degree must first submit an application to CAMPUS France.

Duration and rythm
The bachelor’s degree program lasts three years, from the first to the third year. Students can enter the program in the first, second, or third year.
Objectives
The Bachelor’s Year 3 Management Strategy (MS) enables students to acquire fundamental skills in management, strategy, human resources management, accounting, management control, financial management, marketing, law and business English. Students put their knowledge into practice through case studies, team projects, an internship and a business simulation game.

Tuition fees
For students who do not receive scholarships, the registration fees are as follows:
- Bachelor’s degree: €178 for the 2025/2026 academic year (this fee includes diploma fees, tuition fees, and university library membership).
For students receiving scholarships who provide proof of conditional notification at the time of enrollment, no registration fees will be charged. The CROUS will pay the registration fees owed to the institution through the scholarships awarded to the student.
In addition, all students enrolled in initial training at a higher education institution must pay the Student and Campus Contribution (CVEC) before registering. This can be done online at cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr.

Student assessment is based on a system of partials and continuous assessment, combining individual and group projects, thus guaranteeing the progressive acquisition of the skills necessary to obtain a state diploma.
