Irène Georgescu

Irène Georgescu is a professor at Montpellier Management, University of Montpellier. Her research focuses on performance measurement and its effects on individuals’ attitudes and behaviors, particularly in the field of health.

She leads the european project “Research Innovation Action Apollo2028” (European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program under grant agreement number 101137144) on the resilience and mental health of healthcare professionals (a US-Europe partnership with eight European universities and three hospitals, with a budget of €5.6 million).

She is responsible for the Innov’Ere Santé Chair.
She is an alternate member of the Conseil National des Universités (CNU).
She is director of the Social Sciences division at the University of Montpellier.
She is editor-in-chief of the Journal de Gestion et d’Economie en Santé.

She has been:

• President of the Association for Applied Research in Health Organization Management (ARAMOS).
• Secretary General of the Francophone Accounting Association (AFC).
