The internship is an integral part of our programs. It allows students to experience a professional environment, where they are confronted with the demands of the job market, and this experience helps them transition into their future careers.
At Montpellier Management, internships require an internship report up to Master 1 level and a thesis with defense at Master 2 level. You will find all the practical information you need about your internship on this page.
Finding an Internship
It is highly recommended to start looking for an internship at least four months before the start date, even earlier if the internship takes place abroad (additional administrative steps apply).
Internships must take place during periods set by the educational institution. They may be extended beyond the minimum mandatory duration, but may not exceed August 31, the end date of the academic year.

Resources Available to Students
Students at the University of Montpellier have access to ResUM, a platform offering tailored internship, work-study, and job opportunities.
They can also follow MOMA’lumni, the Montpellier Management alumni network, on social media to find opportunities shared by former students.
Offers available on the internet
A large number of institutional and private websites also offer online job listings. Among the best known are CIDJ, Indeed, Apec, Afij, and Manpower (partnership agreement since January 2013). Many sites provide advice on how to proceed, such as L’Étudiant (which also offers internships and work-study programs) and Étudiants & stages.
Practical Information
The internship agreement must be entered via the ENT, printed, and signed in triplicate (host company, intern, and Montpellier Management) before the start of the internship. A certificate of civil liability issued by the insurer of your choice must be attached to the internship agreement.
