Montpellier Management, a school of the University of Montpellier, is now recognized for the quality of its management programs and research. We welcome more than 4 000 students, from the bachelor’s degree (licence) through the doctoral level, who are preparing to pursue careers in management and administration within constantly evolving professional environments.

But Montpellier Management is much more than just a place of learning. It is a community designed to be a place for living, learning and sharing, where different paths, experiences and perspectives come together. It is an open home where everyone is invited to find their place, express themselves and contribute to a collective project rooted in connection, humanity and sustainability.

Our responsibility is to provide management training and this involves sharing knowledge and skills. But above all, in the spirit of the Lumières, it means to learn to think independently, build sound reasoning skills and enhance one’s ability to put oneself in others’ shoes in order to assess the consequences of one’s decisions.
This is our fundamental mission: to enable every student to develop an informed, coherent and responsible perspective on the world.

Montpellier Management’s mission is defined by three key aspects:

  • To train students who are able to understand the complexity of the modern world, organize their thoughts, develop critical thinking skills and make informed decisions.
  • To create useful and meaningful knowledge that addresses evolving economic, social and environmental challenges.
  • To share a vision of management, as a way of engaging with the world, that is inseparable from a sense of responsibility toward others and future generations.

To meet these goals, Montpellier Management offers an inspiring, supportive, innovative and open environment: learning development, internationalization of degree programs, courses taught in English, distance learning, pedagogical innovations and invitations to research chairs… All of these initiatives enable each student to shape their own path and fully develop their potential.

This dynamic is built on the commitment of a collective (teachers-resarchers and teachers, administrative staff, professional practitioners and partners) whose involvement contributes every day to the quality of our programs and the support we provide to our students.

Montpellier Management is a home where we learn, grow and build the world of tomorrow together.
