Professionalization is central to our vision, with initiatives designed to bringing the academic and professional worlds closer together. Challenges, entrepreneurial projects, specialized events: these hands-on experiences, reinforced by strategic partnerships with companies and institutions, also enable our students to easily integrate into the job market.
An on-site team ready to support you: the Professionalization Department
For several years, the Professionalization Department has played a key role in developing work-study programs and implementing executive training initiatives.
What is its role? The department provides support to students, host organizations, teaching staff, and administrators. In particular, it holds awareness-raising and information sessions on work-study programs, as well as discussion forums to answer various questions.
The entire team works closely with all training providers to offer its expertise: CFA IFRIA Occitanie, CFA DIFCAM, CFA HP-OCCITANIE, CESEGH, the Continuing Education Department at the University of Montpellier, and CFA ENSUP-LR. In conjunction with the latter, they can benefit from webinars on the topic of work-study programs and job dating throughout the year.
Events to encourage professional integration
The Forum Entreprises Universités (FEU)
The Forum Entreprises Universités (FEU) is held every year on the Triolet campus in Montpellier. Organized by the SCUIO-IP of the University of Montpellier, this event brings together around a hundred companies. The event offers round tables, discussions with recruiters, and even a booth where you can update your CV photo.
The “5 minutes to convince” contest
The “5 min to convince” competition rewards the best presentations of professional projects (internships, jobs, etc.). It takes place every year (usually in January-February), allowing competing students to present their projects to a jury of professionals from the socio-economic world and higher education.
Workshops to help with professional integration
Throughout the year, our students benefit from workshops designed to help them enter the job market, organized by the BAIP at SCUIO-IP. From bachelor’s to doctoral level, they can receive support in finding internships, writing their CVs, and preparing for job interviews.
Our top priority: the professional integration of our graduates
At Montpellier Management, we closely monitor our graduates’ career paths.
Each March, our survey officer contacts graduates of the Professional Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, six months after graduation, to collect key data on their employment status, sector of activity, and satisfaction with their training.
The information collected provides a concrete overview of the career opportunities associated with different training programs. It is useful for adapting our training programs to the realities of the job market, refining our teaching methods, and providing students with the best possible support in building their professional future.
