Supporting your transition to the workplace

Professionalization is at the heart of our vision, with initiatives designed to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world. Challenges, entrepreneurial projects, and specialized events offer hands-on experiences that, strengthened by strategic partnerships with companies and institutions, help our students transition smoothly into the job market.

An on-site team ready to support you: the Professionalization Department

For several years, the Professionalization Department has played a key role in developing work-study programs and implementing executive training initiatives.

Its mission? The department provides support to students, organizations, and both academic and administrative staff. It runs awareness and information sessions on work-study opportunities and hosts discussion sessions to address various questions.

The entire team works closely with all training stakeholders to offer their expertise: CFA IFRIA Occitanie, CFA DIFCAM, CFA HP-OCCITANIE, CESEGH, the Continuing Education Service of the University of Montpellier, and CFA ENSUP-LR. In collaboration with these partners, students benefit from a range of activities throughout the year, including webinars on work-study programs and job dating events.

Events to Promote Career Integration

The University-Business Forum: “Forum Entreprises Universités (FEU)”

The University-Business Forum (Forum Entreprises Universités – FEU) is held annually on the Triolet campus in Montpellier. Organized by the University of Montpellier’s Career and Guidance Service (SCUIO-IP), it brings together around 100 companies. The event features panel discussions, networking opportunities with recruiters, and even a stand for updating CV photos.

The “5 minutes to convince” competition

This competition rewards the best professional project pitches (internships, jobs, etc.). Held every year (typically in January–February), it allows selected students to present their project in front of a jury of professionals from both the socio-economic and higher education sectors.

Career development workshops

Throughout the year, our students can participate in workshops to support their career integration, organized by the University’s BAIP (Career Guidance and Professional Integration Office). From first-year undergraduate students to PhD candidates, everyone can receive guidance on internship searches, CV writing, and job interview preparation.

Our top priority: the professional integration of our graduates

At Montpellier Management, we closely monitor our graduates’ career paths.

Each March, our survey officer contacts graduates of the Professional Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, six months after graduation, to collect key data on their employment status, sector of activity, and satisfaction with their training.

The data gathered provides a clear picture of the career opportunities associated with each program. These insights help us align our curricula with labor market realities, refine our teaching methods, and better support students in building their professional futures.
