BAMM, the Montpellier Management Students’ Association Office
BAMM is the leading student association on the Montpellier Management campus. Its goal? To make our students’ year more enjoyable and easier. This applies both academically, through the provision of past coursework and exam papers, and socially, through the organization of numerous events throughout the year, such as orientation sessions and the annual Gala.

If we had to describe the BDE BAMM in three words,
I would say meeting new people.
I think I would say parties.
And me, student life.
Any anecdotes to share about the BDE BAMM?
I want to talk about the WEI.
My first orientation weekend,
That’s really where I met all my friends.
I would talk about this year’s orientation party.
As a member of the BDE, it allowed me to discover
all the newcomers who are here.
I’m going to talk about skiing last year.
who will be there again this year.
But last year’s skiing was crazy,
because there were 100 of us and actually everyone
left knowing each other
even though nobody knew each other at first.
What event are you most looking forward to this year?
For me, the event I was most looking forward to this year
It was really the orientation party.
So this year, we had a pool party.
It’s really the night when all the L1 students
discover student life.
So for me, it was really the evening I was looking forward to the most.
I think I would talk about the gala.
because they are usually in truly magical places.
It’s like in the movies, there are red carpets.
That’s crazy.
There are all the teachers who come on top of that.
And it allows us to end the year on a high note.
Personally, I’m looking forward to skiing.
because it’s been a crazy week for all of us.
We don’t necessarily know each other,
But in the end, we all leave as friends, and that’s great.

How can I join the association?
There are two main recruitment periods for joining BAMM. The first is at the end of August and the second is at the beginning of November. However, not all of the team is replaced each year; it depends on which members leave and which positions become vacant.

The Sports Office
The MOMA Sport Club was created in 2021 when the MOMA Rugby Club and MOMA Football Club merged. It is the association responsible for organizing sporting activities and representing Montpellier Management through its football, rugby, handball, basketball, and volleyball teams.
In addition to training, the Sports Office teams are registered in intercollegiate championships to compete with other universities and schools, and also organize sports-themed events throughout their term of office.

Recently, we held an event called MOMA Boyard on the beach.
during which there were several challenges based on Fort Boyard
and one of them was eating insects
and unfortunately some of the insects were eaten by seagulls.
What is the event you look forward to most during the year?
So, for me, it’s the Kitch Pétanque.
For me, it’s the padel tournament because I always win them, so that’s good.
For me, it’s Intervilles at the end of the year.
For my part, I would say qualifying
for the French rugby championship.

How can I join the association?
You can join the Sports Office as a member by purchasing a membership card (available for purchase throughout the year). Upon purchase, you will receive a free scarf and access to all partner benefits.
Football, rugby, handball, basketball, and volleyball teams are formed at the beginning of the academic year in September through tryouts. To become a player on one of the BDS women’s or men’s teams and represent Montpellier Management in intercollegiate championships, simply attend the tryouts on the dates posted on social media. You will only need to pay a fee corresponding to the cost of the uniform.
To become a member of the BDS, recruitment is based on needs and departures.

How do I join the association?
The association welcomes two types of student profiles:
- Active members: permanent members of the association, they manage internal departments (sales, communications, presidency, treasury, etc.) and oversee the day-to-day management of the organization. Recruitment takes place at two key periods: April/May and September, via a selective process combining interviews and case studies.
- Contributors: consultants hired to carry out studies commissioned by MOMA Consulting. Recruited throughout the year, they receive compensation for each assignment completed. They are selected based on their interest in the subject and their ability to produce rigorous and professional analysis.

How do I join the association?
It is possible to join as an “external member.” You can participate in organizing events and activities for your campus and fellow students, propose projects, or simply try out community involvement.
Open to all, all the time.

The Master CCA Montpellier Alumni Association
The Master CCA Montpellier Alumni Association is a network of current and former students of the Master Comptabilité Contrôle Audit, formerly known as the Maîtrise des Sciences et Techniques Comptables et Financières.
The aim is to federate and create strong links between the different students who have taken this Master at Montpellier Management.
The aim of this association is to facilitate exchanges and meetings between Master CCA students and professionals who have taken the same course (accountants, auditors, corporate finance directors, internal auditors, etc.).

International Management Office
The International Management Office association organizes various events centered around the Montpellier Management’s Licence 3 Gestion International Management program, with alumni and new students.
The aim is to promote communication about the degree and develop links between the various players involved.

Setting up your own association
Nearly 70 student associations already exist, with more yet to be created… The law of July 1, 1901 establishes a legal framework. To create an association, certain steps must be taken, including drafting the bylaws.
To register your association at the University of Montpellier, you must submit a written request accompanied by the articles of association to the President of the University of Montpellier and the Director of Montpellier Management. Submitting the request does not constitute registration. Additional documents may be requested.
To apply for a grant: access the Single Application Form/FSDIE application and follow the instructions.
