BAMM, the Montpellier Management Students’ Association Office

BAMM is the leading student life association on the Montpellier Management campus. Their aim? To make our students’ year easier and more enjoyable. Both academically, with the help of previous years’ exams, and on the social side, with numerous events organized throughout the year such as welcome activities and the annual Gala.

“They also represent Montpellier Management students within various university committees, such as the MOMA Institute Council, the Board of Directors, and the Academic and Student Life Commission (CFVU).

How to join the association?

To join the BAMM, there are two main recruitment periods. The first at the end of August and the second at the beginning of November. But the entire team is not renewed every year, depending on members’ departures and vacancies.

The Sports Office

The Bureau des Sports “MOMA Sport Club” was created in 2021 with the merger of the MOMA Rugby Club and the MOMA Football Club. It is the association responsible for sports life and represents Montpellier Management through its soccer, rugby, handball, basketball and volleyball teams.

In addition to training sessions, the teams of the Sports Bureau are enrolled in inter-university championships to compete with other universities and schools. They also organize events throughout the year focused on sports-related themes.

How to join the association?

It is possible to join the Sports Bureau as a member by purchasing a membership card (available for purchase throughout the year). Upon purchase, you will receive a free scarf and gain access to all partner benefits.

“Football, rugby, handball, basketball, and volleyball teams are formed at the beginning of the school year during tryouts in September. To become a player on one of the men’s or women’s teams and represent Montpellier Management in inter-university championships, simply attend the tryout sessions on the dates announced on social media. You will only need to pay a membership fee, which covers the cost of the team uniform.

To become a member of the BDS, recruitment is based on needs and departures.

MOMA Consulting

Founded in 2003, MOMA Consulting is a student association that brings together companies and students to carry out studies that apply the Montpellier Management curriculum (management, finance, marketing, strategy and development, etc.). They carry out various consulting and development assignments for French and international companies: financial audit, organizational audit, marketing audit, business plan, development consulting, market study, satisfaction survey…

Since 2016, they have belonged to the CNJE (Confédération nationale des Junior-Entreprises) and were delighted to win the Best Hope 2020 award. A very fine result for their efforts and the quality of their work.

How to join the association?

MOMA Consulting recruits two types of members: active members and contributors.

Active members are the association’s permanent players. They are recruited in September, during recruitment sessions organized by MOMA Consulting. They are responsible for the smooth running of the association and its consulting missions.

The contributors are an integral part of MOMA Consulting: they are the ones who carry out the missions undertaken by MOMA Consulting (data collection, data analysis, studies, etc.). They are linked to the association through a paid contract. And recruitment is open all year round!

Impulse MTEEC, an association to raise awareness and discuss socio-environmental issues

The association’s aim is to bring change among students, citizens and organizations, in order to help them to adopt behaviors that are more respectful of the environment and of living beings.

The Impulse MTEEC association is linked to the Master Management de la Transition Écologique et de l’Économie Circulaire (MTEEC).

The association is committed to raising awareness and sharing scientific knowledge and local actions in a fun, educational and accessible way. We believe that the collective is the driving force behind a successful socio-ecological transition, and we will give everyone the opportunity to express themselves and to be heard. We will strive to make popular, civic-minded and inclusive actions accessible, with a view to opening up the association to all.

How to join the association?

It is possible to join the association as an “external member”. You’ll be able to help organize events and actions for your campus and students, propose projects or just get a taste of committed community life.

Open to all, all the time.

The association strives for the most horizontal governance possible.

The Master CCA Montpellier Alumni Association

The Master CCA Montpellier Alumni Association is a network of current and former students of the Master Comptabilité Contrôle Audit, formerly known as the Maîtrise des Sciences et Techniques Comptables et Financières.

The aim is to federate and create strong links between the different students who have taken this Master at Montpellier Management.

The aim of this association is to facilitate exchanges and meetings between Master CCA students and professionals who have taken the same course (accountants, auditors, corporate finance directors, internal auditors, etc.).

As a former student of Montpellier Management’s Master CCA program, don’t hesitate to join the LinkedIn group, which already has over 300 members and helps keep this network alive.

International Management Office

International Management Office

The International Management Office association organizes various events centered around the Montpellier Management’s Licence 3 Gestion International Management program, with alumni and new students.

The aim is to promote communication about the degree and develop links between the various players involved.

Setting up your own association

Nearly 70 student associations already exist, while others have yet to be invented… The law of July 1st, 1901 provides a legal framework. To set up an association, there are a number of steps to follow, including drawing up the articles of association.

To register your association at the University of Montpellier, you need to submit a written request, together with your articles of association, to the President of the University of Montpellier and the Director of Montpellier Management. Submission of the application does not constitute registration. Additional documents may be requested.
