The Bachelor’s degree AGE is ideal for people who want to pursue a career in business management and develop strong versatility.

Application requirements

The Bachelor’s Year 3 Business Administration and Management (AGE) is one of the specialization tracks offered in the third year of the Bachelor’s degree AES.

Students may enter this program in the first, second, or third year.

The first year (L1) is open to students who have obtained their high school diploma.
The second year (L2) is open to students who have completed their first year of higher education in a compatible program, such as a first year of a Bachelor’s Degree or a first year of BUT or BTS related to the discipline.
The third year (L3 AGE) is open to students who have obtained a L2 AES (Montpellier Management) and to students who have completed two years of higher education.

Foreign students who are not members of the European Union and do not have a French degree must first submit an application to CAMPUS France.

Applications will only be reviewed once this formality has been completed.

Duration and rythm

The bachelor’s degree program lasts three years, from year 1 to year 3. Students can join the program in the first (L1 AES), second (L2 AES), or third year (L3 AGE).

Objectives

The Bachelor’s Year 3 Business Administration and Management (AGE) provides students with solid skills in all areas of business management: management, strategy, management control, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

It prepares students for their future careers by providing them with an in-depth understanding of business management issues and tools, enabling them:

to address any general organizational issues
to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses of a business in order to make recommendations
to take on administrative, accounting and financial or marketing and sales responsibilities
to supervise and coordinate a team of employees
to become entrepreneurs

At the end of the program, students will have acquired:

fundamental knowledge of business management
mastery of the methods and tools necessary for the technical, socioeconomic, and managerial functioning of businesses
the ability to think analytically and respond quickly to changes in the economic environment
an understanding of social and human relations within organizations, promoting effective team management

Tuition fees

For students who do not receive scholarships, the registration fees are as follows:

Bachelor’s degree: €178 for the 2025/2026 academic year (this fee includes diploma fees, tuition fees, and university library membership).

For students receiving scholarships who provide proof of conditional notification at the time of enrollment, no registration fees will be charged. The CROUS will pay the registration fees owed to the institution through the scholarships awarded to the student.

In addition, all students enrolled in initial training at a higher education institution must pay the Student and Campus Contribution (CVEC) before registering. This can be done online at cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr.

Teaching methods

At Montpellier Management, more than 50 teacher-researchers and 600 external speakers transmit their knowledge to our students, combining academic knowledge and field experience.

Evaluation methods

Student assessment is based on a system of partials and continuous assessment, combining individual and group projects, thus guaranteeing the progressive acquisition of the skills necessary to obtain a state diploma.
