The Bachelor’s Year 3 Tourism & Hospitality Management (MSHT) provides access to a general Bachelor’s degree (French Level II – European Level 6) in management and the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree.
This program prepares students for a variety of high-demand professions, offering numerous career opportunities.

Application requirements
The Bachelor’s Year 3 Tourism & Hospitality Management (MSHT) (e-learning) is one of the specialization tracks offered in the third year of the Bachelor’s degree Management.
Students may enter this program in the first, second, or third year.
- The first year (L1) is open to students who have obtained their high school diploma.
- The second year (L2) is open to students who have completed a first year of higher education in a compatible program, such as a Bachelor’s degree or a first year of a BUT or BTS (both years of BTS completed) related to the discipline.
- The third year (L3 MSHT e-learning) is open to students with a Bachelor’s degree (L2) in Management (Montpellier Management) and students with two years of post-secondary education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, BUT, BTS MHR, Bachelor’s degree in Economics, etc. (selection based on application).

Duration and rythm
The bachelor’s degree program lasts three years, from the first to the third year. Students can enter the program in the first, second, or third year.
Objectives
This program aims to provide students with fundamental management tools, while offering them in-depth specialization in hotel management.
It has several objectives:
- To prepare students for the demands of the professional world
- To develop a solid mastery of management sciences and hotel management and providing an essential foundation for specialization in the MSHT Master’s program
- To support students in defining and building their career plans
The program places particular emphasis on language learning, as well as on understanding and mastering the economic, managerial and technical dynamics specific to companies in the hotel and tourism sector.

Tuition fees
Tuition fees at the University of Montpellier:
- Bachelor’s degree: €178</strong> for the 2025/2026 academic year (this fee includes diploma fees, tuition fees, and university library membership)
Students receiving scholarships who provide proof of conditional notification at the time of registration will not be required to pay any registration fees.
The CROUS will pay the registration fees owed to the institution through the scholarships awarded to the student.
In addition, all students enrolled in initial training at a higher education institution must pay the Student and Campus Contribution (CVEC) before registering. This can be done online at cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr.
In addition to these costs, there are registration fees with the CNED:
- You finance your e-learning training, bachelor’s degree (L3): €2,680
- Your company is paying for your training: please contact the continuing education department, bachelor’s degree (L3): €4,720
