Who is this for?

The Bachelor’s Degree AGP is ideal for people who want to specialize in public management and administration. This program provides students with the solid skills they need to pursue executive positions in the public sector, including economics, law, management, finance, marketing, civil service, general knowledge, and the societal and legal challenges of sustainable development.

Application requirements

The Bachelor’s Year 3 Public Administration and Management (AGP) is one of the specialization tracks offered in the third year of the Bachelor’s Degree AES.

Students can join this program in the first, second, or third year:

  • The first year of the Bachelor’s degree (L1) is open to students who have obtained their high school diploma.
  • The second year (L2) is open to students who have completed a first year of higher education in a compatible program, such as a first year of a Bachelor’s degree or a first year of a BUT or BTS related to the discipline.
  • The third year (L3 AGP) is open to students who have completed a second year of a Bachelor’s degree AES (Montpellier Management) and to students with two years of post-secondary education.

Foreign students who are not members of the European Union and do not have a French diploma must first submit an application to CAMPUS France.

Duration and rythm

The bachelor’s degree program lasts three years, from year 1 to year 3. Students can join the program in the first, second, or third year.

Objectives

The Bachelor’s Year 3 Public Administration and Management (AGP) prepares students to address a wide range of organizational issues by organizing and coordinating, on behalf of a senior manager, the drafting and transmission of essential information within the organization that employs them.

It also enables them to understand the strengths and weaknesses of an activity and to formulate proposals and strategic alternatives. Graduates are trained to apply the political and economic objectives of decision-making bodies and to exercise managerial responsibilities in technical, administrative, accounting, and financial areas. They are able to supervise, organize, and coordinate a team of employees within one or more departments.

The Bachelor’s degree AGP enables students:

  • to acquire knowledge in the management of public and private organizations, both nationally and internationally
  • to develop analytical skills and responsiveness to a changing socio-economic environment
  • to understand social and human issues within various structures
  • to master the management tools essential to the functioning of public organizations
  • to acquire skills in two languages and in IT (C2I)

Pricing

For students who do not receive scholarships, the registration fees are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree: €178 for the 2025/2026 academic year (this fee includes diploma fees, tuition fees, and university library membership).

For students receiving scholarships who provide proof of conditional notification at the time of enrollment, no registration fees will be charged. The CROUS will pay the registration fees owed to the institution through the scholarships awarded to the student.

In addition, all students enrolled in initial training at a higher education institution must pay the Student and Campus Contribution (CVEC) before registering. This can be done online at cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr.

A disability representative is there to welcome you, provide you with information and implement a certain number of arrangements to facilitate your studies and reduce the disability situations you may encounter.

At Montpellier Management, more than 50 teacher-researchers and 600 external speakers transmit their knowledge to our students, combining academic knowledge and field experience.

Student assessment is based on a system of partials and continuous assessment, combining individual and group projects, thus guaranteeing the progressive acquisition of the skills necessary to obtain a state diploma.

The training takes place at Montpellier Management, Espace Richter, rue Vendémiaire, 34960 Montpellier.
