Montpellier Management (MOMA) is a higher education institution renowned for its academic excellence and commitment to educational innovation.

Its mission: to train managers, drawing on research, to build a more responsible, sustainable, and respectful world for all.

Building on its local influence, MOMA is committed to offering high-quality education tailored to the needs of the job market and society, while ensuring the development of critical thinking skills and providing support to all students throughout their university studies. MOMA is part of a research dynamic that contributes to the evolution of management practices, the enrichment of teaching, and relationships with local, national, and international stakeholders. MOMA is a lab for reflection and experimentation where each stakeholder can express themselves, paving the way for innovative practices.

Our vision: to be a leading management school that listens to its students, is open to the world, enlightens the ecosystem, and is involved in co-building a bolder, more responsible, sustainable world that respects everyone.

These ambitions are underpinned by strong values: open-mindedness (developing innovative research and training programs designed in collaboration with our partners, encouraging boldness and experimentation), collective spirit (fostering mutual support among teaching and administrative staff, students, and partners), ethics (training managers who are responsible for change and creators of value).

MOMA’s commitment for the period 2024-2026 is based on four key strategic priorities:

  • Offer innovative and inclusive training to acquire tomorrow’s managerial skills, for both students and professionals,
  • Maximizing impact-driven research, that is, research that is visible and socially useful, through open and participatory science,
  • Reinforce our openness to local, national and international ecosystems, with co-constructed initiatives and strong, extended partnerships,
  • Develop a growing commitment to society through awareness-raising and training initiatives for our students and staff.

Montpellier Management is a member of the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and is therefore committed to a high-level international accreditation process.

By developing its international visibility, MOMA aims to assert its position on the national and international stage. Montpellier Management combines its ambitions with its fundamental principles, working towards a more inclusive and sustainable future, while consolidating its reputation for academic excellence, support for all students, and commitment to society.

Students enjoy a privileged living environment and are encouraged to succeed with support from their first year onwards and throughout their studies. Student associations are assisted so that they can also promote the development of their peers and encourage mutual aid and solidarity between classes. The Junior Enterprise (MOMA Consulting), the Sports Office (MOMA Sport Club), and the Student Office (BAMM) have their own independent, customized offices.

Staff can test new ideas and develop new projects; these are supported if they are rooted in the institute’s strategy and values.

We want everyone to feel at home at Montpellier Management and find a place that suits them. This is the challenge we take on every day by combining high-level research and training, attracting the best experts from the business world as well as public and political organizations. Our partners are involved in our events and discussions, as are our alumni.
