Study at Montpellier Management

Welcome to MOMA!

Welcome to Montpellier Management! Whether you’re a new student or continuing your studies, here you’ll find practical information about student life and campus services.

Student Associations

Our student associations play a central role on campus and in student life, organizing many events throughout the year.

MOMA SPORT CLUB (Instagram: @bds_moma)
From a welcome beach volleyball tournament to the “Kitch Pétanque,” “MOMA Boyard,” and padel tournaments — there’s never a dull moment with MOMA SPORT CLUB! In addition to team-building and integration events, the association manages the men’s and women’s teams in football, basketball, volleyball, handball, and rugby, all competing in university championships.

BAMM (Instagram: @bde_bamm)
The Bureau Associatif de Montpellier Management (BAMM) is behind all the festive student events. The ski week in January kicks off the calendar, followed by the annual Gala, usually held in the first quarter of the year. The association also organizes welcome parties and an integration weekend to help new students settle in.

MOMA CHEERS (Instagram: @moma.cheers)
MOMA CHEERS is the cheerleading team of the MOMA SPORT CLUB. Created in 2022 to diversify the sports offer and support MOMA teams, the group has grown significantly and now includes nearly 20 cheerleaders. They train weekly under the guidance of two co-captains. The team is open to everyone — girls and boys alike — all you need is a love for dancing and team spirit!

Libraries

The Richter University Library (BU) is just a few steps from Building B and the Student Center (Maison des Étudiants). Renovated in 2018, it offers study rooms (reservation required), research and relaxation areas, all with a beautiful view of the Lez River. The library is equipped with computers, printers, copiers, scanners, and lends out headsets, laptops, and tablets.

Just a 10-minute walk from Montpellier Management, you’ll also find the Émile Zola Library, accessible via Tram Line 1, stop “Place de l’Europe.” It includes a news forum, auditorium, and exhibition space, along with specialized libraries covering history, society, science, arts, literature, research, and heritage.

Culture

The Art & Culture Department of the University of Montpellier offers a wide range of cultural activities: art workshops, exhibitions, theater performances, and shows. You’ll find the full calendar of events on their website.

Students are also encouraged to download the YOOT app, a ticketing platform offering deeply discounted prices. Concert and show tickets start at €5, and cinema tickets from €4 — the perfect way to explore Montpellier on a student budget! A €9 yearly membership (valid until the end of August) is required.

ENT (Environnement Numérique de Travail)

When enrolling, each student receives login codes to access the ENT. Through the ENT, students can manage their academic file, check class schedules, renew their student card, monitor scholarship status, and access the online library.
