The Bachelor’s Year 3 Tourism & Hospitality Management (MSHT) provides access to a general Bachelor’s degree (French Level II – European Level 6) in management and the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree.
This program prepares students for a variety of high-demand professions, offering numerous career opportunities. The program is designed to prepare students to work in an international context:
- Courses taught in English
- Student mobility facilitated by partnership agreements with institutions in Europe, South America, North America, the Middle East, and Asia that offer degrees in management in the hospitality and tourism sector

This program has been awarded the “Formations Françaises d’Excellence au Tourisme” label by the CFET (Conférence des Formations d’Excellence au Tourisme).

The Bachelor’s Year 3 Tourism & Hospitality Management (MSHT) is ideal for people who want to specialize in the hospitality and tourism sector. This program provides students with essential skills in management, management control, accounting and project management.
Application requirements
The Bachelor’s Year 3 Tourism & Hospitality Management (MSHT) is one of the specialization tracks offered in the third year of the Bachelor’s degree Management.
Students may enter this program in the first, second, or third year.
- The first year (L1) is open to students who have obtained their high school diploma.
- The second year (L2) is open to students who have completed their first year of higher education in a compatible program, such as a Bachelor’s Degree 1 or a first year of a BUT (formerly DUT) or BTS related to the discipline.
- The third year (L3 MSHT) is open to students who have completed a second year of a Bachelor’s degree in Management (Montpellier Management) and to students with two years of post-secondary education: second year of a Bachelor’s degree in Management, two years of a BUT (formerly DUT), BTS MHR, second year of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics… (selection based on application).
Foreign students who are not members of the European Union and do not have a French degree must first submit an application to CAMPUS France.

Duration and rythm
The bachelor’s degree program lasts three years, from the first to the third year. Students can enter the program in the first, second, or third year.
Objectives
The objective of this program is to acquire fundamental management tools, complemented by advanced specialization in the field of hotel management and :
- To prepare students for the demands of the professional world
- To enable students to acquire the fundamentals of management sciences and hotel management and the basis for specialization in the MSHT Master’s program
- To help students clarify their career plans
At the end of the L3 MSHT, students will have acquired the following skills:
- Rigorous reasoning
- Academic work methodology
- Knowledge of the managerial, legal, and economic environment
- Knowledge of management professions
- Constraints related to professional activity
They can pursue various careers in the fields of digital marketing, communication and events, quality and team management, as well as F&B management and revenue management. The program emphasizes language learning, as well as understanding and mastering the economic, managerial, and technical mechanisms of companies in the HT sector. At the end of the program, a professional internship exposes students to the realities of the working world.

Tuition fees
For students who do not receive scholarships, the registration fees are as follows:
- Bachelor’s degree: €178 for the 2025/2026 academic year (this fee includes diploma fees, tuition fees, and university library membership).
For students receiving scholarships who provide proof of conditional notification at the time of enrollment, no registration fees will be charged. The CROUS will pay the registration fees owed to the institution through the scholarships awarded to the student.
In addition, all students enrolled in initial training at a higher education institution must pay the Student and Campus Contribution (CVEC) before registering. This can be done online at cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr.

Student assessment is based on a system of partials and continuous assessment, combining individual and group projects, thus guaranteeing the progressive acquisition of the skills necessary to obtain a state diploma.
