Montpellier Management was the first faculty at the University of Montpellier to develop distance learning. Thanks to partnerships with the CNED (National Centre for Distance Education) and the AUF (Francophonie University Association), several of our degree programs are now available via e-learning. Today, nearly 700 students are enrolled in fully remote programs, combining flexibility with high-quality education.
Learn anytime, anywhere
From Bachelor’s Year 1 to Master’s Year 2, Montpellier Management offers programs that are delivered entirely online.
This flexible teaching format, based on 100% e-learning, enables students to complete a full curriculum independently. Students can work at their own pace by accessing their course materials anytime on the MOMA Online website, which serves as their virtual workspace.
Welcome to Montpellier Management!
Today, we are going to talk to you about e-learning or distance education at MOMA.
What is e-learning at MOMA?
E-learning is a teaching method offered for certain MOMA programs, from Bachelor’s Year 1 to Master’s Year 2, allowing students to study remotely at their own pace via a dedicated online learning platform.
At MOMA, we train around 700 students each year from diverse geographic backgrounds and with very different profiles, spread across eight levels of study.
We collaborate with recognized partners such as CNED and AUF for this.
Specific registration fees apply for CNED and AUF. More information is available on our website.
Who is e-learning at MOMA for?
This mode allows studying from anywhere and on any digital device.
It is particularly suited for students who want or need flexibility in their studies: students abroad, those resuming studies, family caregivers, employees…
It is also possible to combine e-learning with apprenticeships.
Does e-learning at MOMA mean studying alone?
A student in e-learning is never isolated. They are supported through virtual classes, forums where they can interact with teaching and administrative staff, and of course, other students.
Connection is essential for success in an e-learning year.
Assignments must be regularly submitted through the platform.
What about exams in e-learning at MOMA?
On-site exams are also scheduled, either in Montpellier or at an exam center abroad, depending on the program and partner.
At the end of the year, the diploma awarded is officially recognized by the State and is identical to the one given in on-campus studies.

See you soon!
Throughout the academic journey, teachers monitor student progress, provide guidance during tutorials, and conduct assessments.
By removing time and location constraints, e-learning makes education accessible to a broader audience: working professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers, expatriates, elite athletes, and more.
