The Master Organizational Management and Sustainable Development (MODR) provides a comprehensive training in responsible organizational management, human resources management, corporate social responsibility, social and societal performance management, communication, work organization and labor relations.
It prepares students for the specific challenges of responsible management in multinational corporations, the public sector, nonprofit organizations and small businesses operating as networks. It stands out for its emphasis on the future executive’s ability to promote and implement management approaches that respect human and environmental resources, in alignment with the company’s economic challenges. The theoretical foundation necessary for training high-level executives is provided by a team of teachers-researchers who participate in national and international research programs on responsible management issues, in diverse contexts such as multinational corporations, NGOs or small businesses within local communities.
Please note: The work-study program is available only in the M2 year.

Who is this for?
The Master’s program MODR is ideal for those who wish to specialize in responsible management and human resources. This program provides students with essential skills in management, human resources, management control, corporate social responsibility and project management.
Application requirements
The Master 1 & 2 Organizational Management and Sustainable Development (MODR) is one of the master’s degrees in the field of Management and Strategy (mention Management). Students can join this program in the first or second year.
The Master 1 program is open to students who hold a bachelor’s degree, a BUT, or a three-year degree (BAC+3) validated as equivalent through the completion of 180 ECTS credits. Preliminary screening is based on the application materials. Final selection is made following an interview.
The Master 2 program is open to:
- directly to students holding the M1 Organizational Management and Sustainable Development (MODR) from Montpellier Management (without an application or interview)
- to holders of a four-year degree in a field deemed equivalent, validated by the completion of 240 ECTS credits.
Pre-selection is based on an application, taking into account academic credentials and academic and professional background. Final selection is made following an interview.
Foreign students who are not members of the European Union and do not have a French degree must first submit an application to CAMPUS France.

Duration and rythm
The master’s program lasts two years, from M1 to M2. Students can enter the master’s program in the first or second year.
Objectives
Students acquire managerial skills through real-world experience thanks to partnerships established by the Master MODR with several associations and business groups committed to sustainable development, through an innovative educational program that engages students in a practical business analysis process (in the M2 year), and through an internship of at least 8 weeks in the first year and at least 4 months in the second year.
The theoretical background necessary for training senior executives is provided by a team of teachers-researchers who participate in national and international research programs on issues of responsible management, in diverse contexts such as multinational corporations, NGOs or small businesses within local communities.

Tuition fees
For students who do not receive scholarships, the registration fees are as follows:
- Master’s degree: €254 for the 2025/2026 academic year (this fee includes diploma fees, tuition fees, and university library membership).
For students receiving scholarships who provide proof of conditional notification at the time of registration, no registration fees will be charged. The CROUS will pay the registration fees owed to the institution through the scholarships allocated to the student.
In addition, all students enrolled in initial training at a higher education institution must pay the Student and Campus Contribution (CVEC) before registering. This can be done online at cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr

At Montpellier Management, more than 50 teacher-researchers and 600 external speakers transmit their knowledge to our students, combining academic knowledge and field experience.
Student assessment is based on a system of partials and continuous assessment, combining individual and group projects, thus guaranteeing the progressive acquisition of the skills necessary to obtain a state diploma.
